July 4th & 7th
2028
In July 2028, I’ll be celebrating two milestones that have been in the making for quite some time: a big (40th!) birthday, and the bottling of my very first private whisky cask on the Isle of Islay.
Rather than keeping those celebrations to myself, I'd love to share them with the people who have been part of my life along the way.
Whether you're family, a longtime friend, a client who's become a friend, a fellow whisky enthusiast, or someone who's simply been looking for the perfect excuse to visit Scotland, this is your official invitation.
You don't need to join an organized tour or commit to a full week away. Simply plan your own Scottish adventure, then join us for one or both of these celebrations. I'd love to celebrate with you there.
Celebrate in Scotland!
Come for Edinburgh. Continue to Islay if you'd like. Or simply join us wherever our journey fits into your own.
The Gathering
Edinburgh | July 4, 2028
In the heart of Edinburgh, we’ll be gathering to celebrate together in style! It’s not just my birthday, it’s also America’s birthday, and more importantly, it’s a celebration for all.
If you're looking for the easiest way to join us, this is it. Edinburgh is one of Europe's great cities, with excellent flight connections, incredible history, and enough to explore for a long weekend or much longer. Join us for an unforgettable evening of exceptional food, whisky, cocktails, music, and celebration as we gather with friends from around the world.
Yes, it’s the biggest birthday party I've ever thrown... and you're invited. Come raise a glass to birthdays, friendships, new chapters, rich stories, and the joy of being together in one of the most beautiful cities in the world!
The Fèis
Isle of Islay | July 7, 2028
Join us for our own private celebration inspired by Islay's legendary Festival of Music and Malt (Fèis Ìle).
If you love whisky, and Islay has been on your list of places to visit, making the trek across Scotland and over to the island of Islay is so worth it. Spend the day enjoying local food, music, artisans, island traditions, and plenty of whisky before gathering for the exclusive release of Ardnahoe cask #297, followed by dinner and an evening of celebration.
Whether Islay has been on your bucket list for years or you've never heard of it before, I'd love to share one of my favorite places in the world with you.
A kind note: Islay isn’t necessarily for everyone, so check out the FAQs to see if it’s right for you!
A Note from Amanda
One of the greatest gifts Scotland has given me is its people.
Some of my favorite memories have come from conversations around a dinner table, watching the ferry pull into Port Askaig, sharing a dram at sunset, or meeting complete strangers who quickly became lifelong friends.
That's the kind of celebration I hope these two events become.
If you've been looking for a reason to visit Scotland, I hope this is it.
I'd love nothing more than to raise a glass with you.
Slàinte,
Amanda
