Islay has always been an island defined by the sea. Long before modern roads connected its villages and distilleries, people, goods, and whisky traveled along these same waters. Today, we'll experience the island much as generations before us have, discovering its coastline from both land and sea.

Our day begins with visits to some of Islay's most iconic coastal distilleries, where there will be time to explore, enjoy tastings, browse the shops, and soak in the unique atmosphere of each location. Rather than rushing from tour to tour, today's pace encourages you to slow down, appreciate the scenery, and enjoy each stop along the way.

From there, we'll board a private charter for a leisurely cruise along Islay's spectacular southern coastline. As we take in dramatic cliffs, secluded bays, and breathtaking views back toward the island, we'll enjoy a relaxed seafood lunch featuring some of Scotland's finest local ingredients. Keep an eye out for seals, seabirds, and other wildlife that call these waters home.

Back on shore, we'll continue our journey with one final immersive distillery experience, bringing together many of the traditions and techniques we've explored throughout the week. It's the perfect opportunity to reflect on everything you've learned while enjoying one last memorable whisky experience before our time on Islay comes to a close.
